This is just a story, no deep learning here other than when people are put together to possibly go to war together, support each other at all costs.
Navy pilots (and I suspect all military pilots) are required to requalify, in this case, for shooting accurately. Very large targets were place on the side of a hill and each pilot had to shoot a percentage of their ammo into the target. On their squadrons requal, one by one as the pilots met the goal and were officially requaled, my dad included, they saw that one of their pilots, we will call him Herbert, Herb for short, was significantly below the goal. Someone passed the word, and all the pilots already qualified, were to shoot on Herb's target.
As it turns out, when the marks on Herb's target were counted, the score was higher than the total amount of rounds he carried on his airplane. Herb requalified with the rest of the squadron.
Congrats, Herb!

This story was told to me when I was pretty young. No date is attached because I don't remember if my dad ever told me a date.
I chose a prop plane for my pic. I actually have no idea if it was a prop or jet plane. It is what I always pictured in my head.
